Tuesday, February 3rd - The State Housing Finance Agency will hold a hearing on providing $138 million in Liberty Bonds to Leonard Litwin to develop a 381-unit apartment at 10 Barclay Street, lower Manhattan. Wednesday, February 4th - New York State Housing Finance Agency proposes to refinance $100 million in Liberty Bonds for 20 River Terrace project (aka Solaire) and proposes to allocate an additional  $20 million. Hearing to take place at 7:00 at HFA offices (641 Lexington Ave, 4th floor).

 

Wednesday, February 4th - the New York State Empire State Development Corporation will hold a hearing on providing a $400,000 grant to Pfizer Pharmaceutical Corp. to move to and expand at 685 Third Avenue, Manhattan. The hearing will take place at Community Board 5 headquarters at 450 7th Ave. Suite 2109, Manhattan at 10:00 am. Thursday, February 5th – the New York City Industrial Development Agency will hold a hearing at 10:00 am at 110 William Street, 4th Floor, on several proposals including up to $42 million for the Bank of America. Details at http://www.goodjobsny.org/pdf/PublicHearingNotice02-04.pdf

 

Monday, February 9th - New York City Housing Development Corporation will hold a public hearing at 10:00 am at 110 William Street in Manhattan, 10th floor on a proposed  $137 million in Liberty Bonds for a residential project at 15 William St. at the corner of Beaver.

 

Wednesday, February 18th – Lower Manhattan Development Corporation (LMDC) will hold a hearing on its Draft Environmental Impact Study for the WTC. 1:00 -5:00 pm with an hour break and then starting up again at 6:00pm at Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts at Pace (Spruce St. Btwn Park Row and Gold St.)

 

Now through Saturday, February 21st - LMDC is taking written comments on its proposal to use $50 million to subsidize 300 units of middle-income housing (targeting individuals and families making $85,000 a year) in a lower Manhattan Liberty Bond project. Comments must be mailed to: Partial Action Plan no. 6, Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, One Liberty Plaza, 20th Floor, New York, New York, 10006.
